Longitudinal Growth Modeling | Multilevel and Structural Equation Modeling Approaches

Stats Camp is an internationally recognized award winning educational event focused on advanced statistical training at the graduate and post-graduate level. Each year full week-long Stats Camps and 2.5 day Mini Camps are held at various locations throughout the world.

Applied Latent Class and Latent Transition Analysis (Applied LCA and LTA)

Stats Camp was started in 2003 to meet the critical need for on-going education in advanced statistical procedures employed by researchers, governments, institutions, and corporations. The demand has been substantial and sustained, resulting in new courses and additional locations each year.

Fall Camp: Item Response Theory (IRT)

Stats Camp courses are highly relevant to current trends and practices in modern statistical analysis. Most courses offer practical “hands on” instruction to get students up to speed fast and maximize knowledge takeaway. All Stats Camp Instructors are vetted and selected from the very best in the field. Most are recognized innovators in the field of advanced quantitative methods. SEM Foundations and Extended Applications Course in Brea California
This is an intensive short course on the principles of structural equation modeling. Topics include confirmatory factor analysis, multiple-group comparisons, factorial invariance as well as extended applications such as hierarchical models and multi-level SEM.
Todd D. Little Ph.D.
Elizabeth Grandfield

The most popular unidimensional IRT models for dichotomous and polytomous item response data, and multidimensional IRT models, in particular the bifactor model and its applications, will be reviewed. The assumptions underlying IRT models, and how to evaluate them, as well as methods of establishing model to data fit will be covered extensively. Finally, we will examine the major applications of IRT including scale construction, evaluating differential item functioning, and computerized adaptive testing.
Steven P. Reise, Ph.D.

An intensive short course in the fundamentals of latent class and latent transition analysis with categorical indicators. This course will introduce participants to the prevailing “best practices” for direct applications of basic finite mixture modeling to cross-sectional and longitudinal categorical data, specifically latent class analysis (LCA) and latent transition analysis (LTA), in terms of model assumptions, specification, estimation, evaluation, selection, and interpretation.
Katherine Masyn Ph.D.

The purpose of this course is to familiarize participants with MI and ML and to demonstrate the use of these techniques using popular software packages (SPSS, SAS, Mplus). The goal of this course is to provide participants with the skills necessary to understand and appropriately implement MI and ML in their own research. To this end, the course will provide a mixture of theoretical information and computer applications.
Craig Enders, Ph.D.
